Twinmotion Community Challenge #9: ‘Sketchfab in Motion’
Enter our contest for the opportunity to showcase your art worldwide and the chance to win $500 and a Sketchfab Pro subscription. This month, we’re looking for a unique video based on a 3D model imported to Twinmotion from Sketchfab.
It’s time to get creative: our new Twinmotion Community Challenge is now open for submissions. This month, we’d like you to create a unique short video based on a 3D model from Sketchfab. Let’s get ‘Sketchfab in Motion’!
With a community of over one million creators, Sketchfab is packed with a vast range of 3D models to choose from. And there’s no limit on what kind of model you can choose for your creative visualization—it could be anything.
You could go for a dynamic render of a futuristic car, an innovative eco-friendly office building, or a hyperrealistic human. The possibilities are endless and the only limit is your imagination, so we encourage you to think outside the box and come up with something truly unique that really unlocks the potential of real-time visualization.
Whatever you choose to design, you must follow these four simple rules. It must be:
At least 10 seconds long in at least 2K resolution
Rendered using Twinmotion
Based on at least one non-branded 3D model from Sketchfab
You must add a proper attribution credit for the Sketchfab model creator wherever you post your render. Learn how.
As usual, a cash prize of $500 will be awarded for the best video, and for the first time, the winner will also receive a one-year Sketchfab Pro subscription.
You can submit your entry via social media or on ArtStation; the best will be showcased on Twinmotion’s own social media channels.
Check out the challenge details below and get your entry posted by the deadline.

See below for important info on submission and rules.
Submissions
Post-production tools are permitted for editing the video on this challenge. You can also import assets from third-party websites. The project must contain at least one non-branded 3D model from Sketchfab.
Make your submissions through social media, using the hashtag #TwinmotionChallenge in the accompanying text. There are several ways to enter. You can post your video:
On your Twitter or LinkedIn account with the tag @Twinmotion
On your Instagram account with the tag @twinmotionofficial
On ArtStation with the hashtag #TwinmotionChallenge
Your entry can be posted to all these channels, if you wish—just be sure to include #TwinmotionChallenge in the text.
Rules
Check out the official rules for this challenge; they vary slightly each time. However, there’s one important rule that’s the same for every challenge:
The items in your render cannot include any trademarked branding or logos. For example, if a laptop appears in your video, it cannot have a visible brand logo—you can still feature the laptop in the scene, just be sure to not have any logos.
Unfortunately, we have to disqualify any video with such branding or logos from the competition. We don’t want this to happen to you, so be sure to strip out all logos and branding before posting your entry.
