Managing Media

Windows

Linux

The media in the Media dock can be renamed, deleted, and duplicated using the Media menu.

When you're in the Media dock, if you change the visibility status of objects in the Scene graph, or if you change the camera position in the scene, you can update previously created media by refreshing the thumbnail of the media.

You can also re-organize the order of the thumbnails in the Media dock, and change the format of images, panoramas, and videos.

The Media Menu

The images, panoramas, and videos inside the Media dock each have their own Media menu. In the Media menu, you can rename, delete, and duplicate media.

Updating Media

The images, panoramas, and videos that you create in Twinmotion are represented as thumbnail images in the Media dock.

If you have created media, and you then make changes to the visibility status of objects in the Scene graph or change the camera position in the scene, you can update the images, panoramas, and keyframes in a video to reflect the changes you've made in the scene by refreshing the thumbnail.

To refresh a thumbnail:

  1. Hover over the thumbnail of an image, panorama, or keyframe in a video.

  2. Click the Refresh icon that appears above the thumbnail image.

If you create an image, panorama, or video, and then make changes to the visibility status of objects or change the camera position in the scene, you can revert the changes in the scene by clicking on the thumbnail of the image, panorama, or video keyframe.

To reorganize the order in which the thumbnail images appear in the Media dock, drag and drop them to the position of your choice.
